Visions of Canada carries a wide variety of contacts for many prescriptions and uses, which we fit and dispense at 1521 Riverside Dr. W, in Windsor Ontario. We take joy in providing you with personal service, and we welcome you to visit us for your contact lens fitting.
What to expect during a thorough Visions of Canada contact lens fitting:
One of our Licensed Contact Lens Opticians will assess your prescription and discuss your needs. He or she will then evaluate
the health of your eyes through a slit-lamp biomicroscope.
A Keratometer reading will be performed to determine the curvature of your eyes.
A trial lens set is chosen or ordered based on your prescription assessment and fitting requirements. The packages remain sealed until you open them.
First time contact lens wearers are welcome! We teach you how to insert and remove your contact lenses from both eyes. It’s easier than you think! We also teach you how to clean and care for your contacts.
With your trial contact lenses in, we assess the fit, feel, and your visual acuity. If one of these factors can be improved on, another set is chosen and checked until we achieve your best vision.
Once a final fit is chosen, a file is created for your contact lens fitting, and the packages from the successful lenses are attached.
Contacts are ordered or dispensed according to the final fitting in your file. You may keep the successful trial pair, and we will provide you with a complimentary starter kit including a case and solution.
Once you are in our system, we update your file regularly. Stay current on the latest in contact lenses and Visions of Canada specials by signing up for our newsletter!

PERSONAL SERVICE BEATS INTERNET PRICING ANY DAY.
Our contacts are not available for sale over the internet. The internet does not provide a Licensed Optician, nor does it provide the personal care and fit outlined above. Poorly fitting contacts can cause headaches, dizziness, eye health issues and more. Contacts worn without proper care instructions can cause abrasions, infections, corneal ulcers, and blindness.
It is definitely worth your time to come into a full service optical store that is here to serve you and maintain your vision as your prescription and needs change.
