About Visions of Canada
Visions of Canada was founded in 1991 by Paul Boyko Jr starting out with “Creating the World’s Thinnest Glasses”. Since, the company has evolved into a one stop shop for those who have vision care needs. The team at Visions of Canada welcome their clients in with open arms and are here to help you through your vision journey. The newly renovated facility provides a waiting room with a priceless view of the Detroit River, a dedicated contact lens fitting centre, a dedicated Optometrist’s office for eye exams, retinal imaging photography, and most importantly, their own lab. The lab techs personally edge your lenses in the lab located just upstairs on the top floor. Staffed with experienced lab technicians, Visions of Canada’s lab boasts the latest technology in lens processing machines, which they combine with advanced lens technology and master craftsmanship to create your award-worthy eyeglasses.

How we use the best lenses to make the best glasses!
Visions of Canada works with three high quality lens manufacturers, Zeiss, Rodenstock, and Nikon, each with their own unique engineering approach and product selection. It is from this wide range of superiorly engineered designs that we pick and choose lenses to suit your prescription and lifestyle needs.
Lenses from each company are available in single vision and progressive designs. Each company offers a range of scratch resistant anti-glare coatings, available digital grinding, ultra-thin material, polarization, tints, and colour changing technology including Transitions, Colormatic & Fotofusion.
Simply the Best
The optical industry can be very confusing to the consumer because there are so many designs of lenses, each claiming to be the best. We keep it simple by sticking to the top lenses from the top manufacturers in the world. Carl Zeiss, Rodenstock, and Nikon produce their lenses on the best equipment systems, employ top engineers and scientific minds.
Buying directly from each lens manufacturer guarantees that the lenses are coated by them to ensure compatibility. This is not always the case in the optical industry, as many outside labs act as the “middle man” and coat brand name lenses with their own coatings and machines.
Made in our Lab for Quality Control
Your lenses are cut, finished, and assembled in our on-site lab, outfitted with the best machines and equipment as well as highly capable lab technicians. We honour all manufacturer warranties.
Our range of available lenses, knowledge, expertise and experience, combined with a highly developed fitting and manufacturing process create the ability for us to control the outcome of your eyeglasses.
All manufacturers carry a two-year warranty against peeling coatings and other manufacturer defects in these lenses. This does not cover lens abuse.
